Clubs & Activities

At École J.A. Fife School we provide a number of extra curricular activities to enhance the learning experience of our students.

Student Council and Student Leadership Council

Under the guidance of volunteer teachers, students are given the opportunity to assume leadership roles through organizing and running special school wide events.  Students in these group also contribute to our society by organizing numerous fundraising ventures.  These students become great ambassadors for École J.A. Fife School.

AMA Safety Patrols

Since 1937, generations of School Safety patrollers have kept Albertans safe – there’s even a chance that you used to be one yourself. Funded and coordinated by the Alberta Motor Association, our School Safety Patrol program has since grown to include 500 schools.

At École J.A. Fife School, the patrollers are trained Grade 6 students who ensure our younger students and parents cross the street safely.

Running Club

The goal of the École J.A. Fife School running club is to provide opportunities for Grade 4-6 students to develop active, healthy lifestyles and practice proper running techniques. Students may have the opportunity to participate in out of school events such as the Running Room Indoor Games.

Choir and Handbells

The participants of Choir and Handbells meet and practice at designated noon hours to practice and enjoy singing and playing while learning proper musical techniques. Choir and Handbell participants have the opportunity to sing at school concerts/assemblies, community senior centres, and other out of school locations.
